Yesterday was my first born's 29th birthday. I am so proud of my DD and all of her accomplishments. When the world says we can't, this should be the very element that propels us towards WE CAN! This is how I encouraged both my kids throughout growing up and they still adhere to it today. Times are tough and they are getting tougher so we need to be STRONGER!
In celebration of her birthday, I made her a birthday card with one of my digital stamps given to me by my very own SOC Secret Sistah Andrea during our Holiday Swap! The stamp was purchased from Saturated Canary designed by the very talented Krista Smith! She loved "LaLa" so I'm sharing the card making process with you:
Supplies
Emboss
Corners rounded, fibers added
Color digital stamp
and assemble card
Finished Card
I know so many talented card makers (scrap booking is still my fav) my sister Sheka included, so I know I can't compete, but I'm sharing it anyway! I'll just keep on creating and giving it the college try, LOL! Well, I think it came out nice! I guess you can say that I've been encouraged by my DD's example and it was FUN in the process and the look on her face was pure joy...and that's really what creating and giving is all about!

Love the way the card turned out and your college try worked. I still have a hard time coloring inside the lines.
