My first post

There are some days that you just don’t feel like getting out of bed! But push on you must. It’s been hot around here, so I tend to stay indoors during the day. James started out last week with a concussion from a rousing game of Racquetball. I love my man but, OH, how he can be a baby when sick! Can anyone relate?... anyone? After playing Nurse Karen, I’m playing catch-up.

My banner ministry has taken off, I make banners for churches. I have my mom’s two banners to finish, and two more to make. They’re not hard to make, but some can be time consuming. I enjoy doing them. Haven’t scrapped this week, yet, but I have yet to start my CKMB (creating keepsakes message board) Circle journal LO pages (got 34 of them to do), and I want the do the latest Can-do technique contest, and The Remember Me challenge posted by lizness. I’m thinking about scraping about Carla, my best girlfriend from childhood. She passed on from cervical cancer. That’s about it for today. This bloggin’ thing may be fun after all….Until next time,
